Can I cancel a bid I placed by accident?

Bids are binding, so there is no button to take one back. You can ask us to retract it, and we decide case by case.

Send us a message with the item number, what you bid, and what happened. Two reasons we do consider: a typing slip, like an extra digit, and a real error in the listing.

Worth knowing: Changing your mind is not one of them, and neither is bidding to move a price around. Ask early either way, because a bid is much harder to unpick once the auction has closed.
